Our main goal is to inspire a love for this incredible game among our students. Our teaching method involves active learning through discussions, analysis, and problem-solving, where students ask and answer questions. To enhance the chess experience, each student will receive Gold membership on ChessKid or Lichess, safe and enjoyable ways for kids to improve by watching videos, solving puzzles, and earning points. As their skills grow, we aim to form a team representing Mazel Day School in local, state, and national chess competitions.
